A two-part lecture, film and workshop program exploring Environmental and Conservation issues from a Jewish perspective
- Learn about environmental challenges facing our world
- Trace Biblical, Rabbinic and Halachic sources relating to conservation and respect for the Earth
- Explore the Jewish concept of bal tashchit
- View illuminating and educational films, including the Academy Award winning documentary An Inconvenient Truth
- Learn about ecology-friendly and energy-saving products
- Participate in workshops to learn how you can help
- Light refreshments will be served on biodegradable dishes
