Legal Consultations-Pro Bono/Low Cost
Councilman Chaim Deutsch hosts free legal services |
Councilman Chaim Deutsch offers free legal services at his District Office twice a week, all year round. Each year, Councilman Deutsch has this program available in conjunction with the CUNY School of Law’s Community Legal Resource Network. This free service provides for an experienced lawyer who sees constituents for one hour consultations. The lawyer is experienced in a large variety of legal matters, including landlord-tenant issues, elder planning, will drafting, real estate and foreclosure proceedings, immigration, health care proxies, living wills, and evictions and more. Councilman Deutsch offers this service to constituents of any income level, as it can often be difficult to find a capable lawyer at an affordable rate. Call 718-368-9176 to schedule an appointment. |
