The Yavneh Minyan of Flatbush is proud to give voice and face to women of Torah.  We are proud to have with us for Shabbat, a Brooklyn original, and noted educator, Dr. Rivka Press Schwartz. She is currently associate principal of SAR High School.
 
Join us Shabbat Matot-Masei August 2&3 to hear this scholar on Friday night; after Mussaf; and at Seudah Shelishit.
 

Friday Night Schedule:
  • Mincha at 6:40 p.m.
  • Dinner at 7:30 p.m.
  • Talk at 8:45 p.m. (everyone is invited to come hear the scholar even if you do not join us for dinner).  Topic: "Telling Lies To the Young is Wrong": Talking About Hard Questions When We Don't Have Easy Answers
Cost of Dinner:
      Adults $36 per person;
      Children 12 and under $18

  • Mincha will start at 7:40 p.m., followed by seudah shelishit. Topic:  Kohi V'Otzem Yadi: Power, Privilege and Perspective
